Dave and Tommy have found an old dead tree in the woods. As they explore it, they find that it is the home of many different plants and animals such as lizards, beetles, crickets, slugs, fungus plants, tree salamanders, ants and gopher snakes.

In this standard nature film, Dave and Tommy find an old dead tree in the back yard and find various animals and insects in it. The narrator provides different facts about them. That's about it. Good color and nicely shot though.
